As promised, today sees the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Camera in the U.S., where it's now available to buy from AT&T. The Android-powered point-and-shoot camera features a 16-megapixel BSI (backside illuminated) CMOS sensor with 21X optical zoom, and runs Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) out of the box, along with Samsung's own customizations. At $499, it's not the cheapest point-and-shoot around, but it is backed up by Samsung's latest smartphone tech, similar to what's found in the Galaxy S3.In
