Google’s Music Match function may be cleaning users’ *!?^%$# explicit music

Just before Christmas, Google released an update to their Google Music app to incorporate the heavily requested “scan and match” function. Scan and match is a process for users uploading music to the cloud to help save bandwidth. Instead of actually uploading a music file to the Google cloud servers, the scan and match function will examine the music file being uploaded and if it can match the music, it will just copy over the song from Google’s catalog to the cloud drive.
