Strategy Analytics: Android gobbled up 70% of global market share in Q4 2012

Android accounted for seven in ten smartphones shipped around the globe in the fourth quarter of last year, according to Strategy Analytics. With an estimated 152 million smartphones shipped in Q4 ’12, Android nearly doubled in volume over the previous year.
