Android App Development is going big this 2011. This mobile Operating System which was bought by Google in 2005 will definitely grow stronger this coming years. The first Android smartphone was the HTC Dream / G1 back in 2008. T-mobile adopted it and it was more known as T-mobile G1. Different opinions were given to the smartphone and many were not satisfied; however, the dissatisfaction was mostly because of the design of the phone and the Android Operating System proved itself to be a qualified competitor against other mobile OS.
Today, there are many different smartphone powered by Android Operating System including Samsung Galaxy S which was said to be an iPhone killer. With all of these things going on in Smartphone business, from the perspective of a tech enthusiast, I believe that this year is the best year to build Android Applications or in other words to become an Android App Developer.

By far, this mobile OS is the fastest growing operating system for smartphones. The first Android phone was introduced last 2008. Last year, in its second quester, the Android OS already took the lead in smartphone sales. This means that in coming years, more people will be using Android powered smartphone than iPhone and Blackberry.
